Fresh produce, grown according to the season, giving the best flavours for the time of year!

VEGETABLES

  • We grow a variety of long season crops including kales, cabbages, cauliflowers and squashes. This seasons varieties include Black Magic, Holland Late, Aviron F1 and Musque de Provence.

  • We grow a wide range of veg in our polytunnel including heirloom tomatoes, chilies, peppers, cucumbers. This seasons varieties include Black Opals, Padrons, Beit Alpha and Buffalosun.

  • We grow a variety of lettuces and greens all year including all year round lettuce, swiss chard, raddicchio, rocket and salad mixes.

  • We grow a variety of root crops including leeks, carrots, radishes, turnips and beetroot. This seasons varieties include Poloneza, Long White Icicle, Detroit Globe and Early Nantes.

  • We grow some special short season crops including sweetcorn and brussells sprouts. This year we will be growing Brendan 1 and Incredible.

POULTRY

  • We hatch our Light Sussex poultry and the cockerels are grown on for the table. Traditional chicken full of flavour and great for roasting and soups.

  • Our free range geese are bought in as day olds and are raised on our pastures. Available for Christmas only.

  • Our turkeys are bought in as day olds and are raised in our pastures enjoying a home milled grain feed and grass. Available for Christmas only.

JACOB LAMB

  • Jacob lamb (hogget really as they are technically older than a year!) are very slow growing so full of flavour. Available in individual joints throughout the year depending on availability.

  • Our popular Jacob mutton is 100% grass fed. Available in individual joints throughout the year depending on availability.

PANTRY ITEMS
